Chapter 13
As B'Elanna walked the last hall way to Commander Chakotay's quarters, she thought back to everything they had been through together. All the tight scrapes and close calls.
He had been there for her through it all. Now B'Elanna wanted him there with her as she took the biggest step of her life. She sadly wished that Harry Kim could have been there to see it.
Harry had been the one to point out to B'Elanna, that she had feelings for Seven. That maybe most of their fights we're from repressed sexual tension. She smiled, thinking about Harry, knowing that he would be happy for her. B'Elanna reached the doors before she had realized it. She took a deep breath, then exhaled and rang the chime.
~~~~~
Tom had finished the dishes and had snuck out when Neelix was busy with planning the wedding of that borg and his Lana.
He had over heard Neelix talking about a Formal wedding and guessed the rest. Now he had plans of his own to set into motion. 'Oh do I have a surprise for you little Miss Barbie Borg.' He smiled evilly and set to his work.
~~~~~
Torres had been nervous the whole way here, but now, sitting in front of him, it vanished.
B'Elanna had tried to explain what had happened to her, about her feelings for Seven. But before she could even open her mouth, he picked her up in a bear hug.
"Congratulations, you Klingon dog you. So how did you finally convince Seven to take you?" He smiled at her. She turned red and stared at the floor.
"Well ya see, I didn't really convince her, I sort of attacked her." At Chakotay's raised brow she hurried to finish. "Out side of the Captain's quarters." Now both brows were just about to become part of his hair line. So B'Elanna decided to go for broke and tell him all. "We were ... busy ... when the Captain stepped out. I think she ordered the computer to transport us to my quarters, but with the Pon Far, most of the details are a little fuzzy."
Chakotay smiled. "Only you could do that and get away with it." Torres stopped him before he could continue.
"It gets better. Seven and I took the Oath of Union, then we went to Janeway. I asked her for Sevens hand ..." she paused at the look on his face. "She agreed and agreed to perform the service. " She waited for a reaction.
Seeing none she continued. "I want you to stand up with me as my Best man." At that Chakotay's face looked ready to burst.
"I would be Honored to stand up with you. And it's about time you pulled your head out of that stubborn Klingon ass and saw the truth." Her jaw hit the floor.
Chakotay reached over and closed it for her, then offered her a drink. They toasted her and Seven's new life, then got down to the details.
~~~~~
So far Tom had found out that the services would be held on the holodeck and Neelix would be handling all the food. Tom was glad they went with the holodeck, he could think of lots of nasty things to do.
He finished up what he had been working on just as Neelix came back into the kitchen.
"Well Tom, it has been good getting to know you. Feel free to come help again." Tuvok walked in behind Neelix and informed Tom of what he was to do next.
"The Captain wants all the hall ways around the holodeck cleaned. Also one deck above and below. Then you are free for the remainder of the day."
Tom nodded and followed Tuvok. He had plenty more planning to do, so cleaning was perfect for it. He now had a way into the holo-controls.
~~~~~
Seven had some work that she needed to attend to before she went for her talk. She knew that it would only take a few moments, but suddenly she felt like she had butterfly's in her stomach.
Seven quickly finished getting the next scan's put into the computer, then logged out. Asking the computer for Lieutenant Commander Tuvok's location. Seven headed straight there, fearing that if she hesitated, she might not go at all. Seven pushed down those thought's, they were irrelevant. She stepped onto the turbo lift and went over just what she would say.
~~~~~
Tom had just gotten very lucky. Tuvok had been watching him like a hawk, whenever Tom was near the control panel. But Seven of Nine had walked over to Tuvok, then they walked off.
Tom listened to be sure they we're gone, then he entered his 'corrections' to the holoprogram set for the wedding. He smiled as he finished with plenty of time to finish up his cleaning.
So when Tuvok returned, Tom was done and waiting for him. "I trust that I do not need to remind you to stay away from Lieutenant Torres and Seven of Nine. And that you will not try to disrupt their time."
Tom nodded, looking like a beat down dog. Tuvok was not fooled by the look, but he did not intend to baby-sit Mr. Paris all night. "Then you are free to go until tomorrow morning at the beginning of your normal shift. "
Tom smiled and made his way to the lift. 'Oh I can't wait until tomorrow.' He thought with an evil grin.
~~~~~
Seven had found Tuvok supervising Mr. Paris. She pulled him aside and asked if he had a moment.
When they walked back down the hall far enough, Seven turned and asked. "Lieutenant Commander, I would like to request that you act the part of father of the bride and walk me down the isle? Since my own father in not present."
Tuvok raised a brow in thought. He did feel like a parental figure towards Seven, so logically he agreed. Seven actually smiled when she told him 'thank you'. Then proceeded to inform him of where and when.
~~~~~
Tom walked into his quarters and ordered the lights up. He went straight to his desk and set to work on completing his 'master' plan to win B'Elanna back.
Tom worked at his desk for most of the night, but was finally finished just before 03:00.
He checked and re checked everything, making sure that he had it all in place for 'the big day'.
As he crawled into bed a fleeting thought passed through his mind. 'Maybe this isn't such a good idea after all.' Followed closely by, 'Nah, I'm just leveling the field.' Then he was sound asleep.
~~~~~
Seven and B'Elanna met up outside of sick bay, then went in together. The doctor was in his office , but seeing them enter, rushed out.
"What's wrong now? Have you two been fighting?" He noticed the scar on Seven's cheek that wasn't there before. Then he noticed that they we're holding hands and a smile blossomed on his face.
"Well it is about time." He stated then hugged them both. "So when's the big day? Do you have anyone to sing for you?"
Seven stopped him before he could really get going. "Doctor, Lieutenant .. I mean B'Elanna and I would like you to play the wedding march for us?" The doctor was almost glowing by this time.
He didn't even seem to notice that they never said anything about him singing. For that B'Elanna was VERY happy. 'Maybe this day will go smoothly.'
They all talked about the wedding for a while, until B'Elanna noticed that it was getting late.
"Well Doc. I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Seven, my love, you need to regenerate and I need to go to bed." At Seven's pout B'Elanna almost caved.
The doctor spoke up though. "It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. Seven you will have all the time in the universe after the wedding. It's only one night."
Seven still looked like she would resist, so B'Elanna told her she would need all that energy for after the party. That earned her a bright smile.
They headed for the lift and rode in silence. "I love you Be'nal. Remember it's only for one night." Torres said as Seven got off the lift and headed for Cargo Bay 2.
'One night.' Torres cursed. It was going to be a LONG night.

~~~~~
B'Elanna was a nervous wreck. She was pacing the room and pulling on the collar of her Tux. Seven had tried to get her to wear a dress, but the half Klingon was having none of that.
The Tuxedo was white with a soft blue tie and cummerbund, that matched Seven's flowers.
Chakotay walks up to Torres and slaps her hands away and fixes the collar. He had watched her pull and tug at it until he was nervous.
Placing a calming hand on her shoulder, making her stop and look at him. "I think you need to sit down and stop worrying. Everything will be just fine."
Torres hoped he was right, but she had a feeling that Tom would try something during the wedding.
~~~~~
Janeway and Sam we're helping Seven into her dress. Since Seven didn't really wear them she was a bit confused by all the trailing parts. She also needed help with doing up her hair.
Kathryn was in her dress uniform and Sam had a light blue dress, also matching Seven's flowers.
Naomi was sitting patiently, watching the three older women run around trying to get Seven ready. When the door chime sounded, Seven was pacing, Janeway was smiling and Sam was trying to put the finishing touches on Seven.
"It is time Captain" Tuvok said as he walked into the room. Janeway ducked out and made her way to the alter.
Tuvok walked over to Seven and offered his arm. "You look lovely."
As they all headed for the isle, Seven breathed a sigh of relief. 'This will soon be over and Lana will be mine forever.' She thought with a smile.
~~~~~
Tom had started putting his plan into action. First he had switched the music and locked it out. Then he spiked the food and drinks with 100 proof liqueur.
He replicated a tuxedo, then sat and waited at his desk. He had run cameras from the holodeck to his quarters. So he knew exactly when to 'show up' and steal Torres away.
~~~~~
Torres and Chakotay we're standing in front of Captain Janeway, waiting for Seven to come in. B'Elanna's nervousness was back, she was so worried about Tom pulling something.
So when the wrong music started, she 'knew' Tom was responsible. The doctor rushed over to the controls and tried to fix it, but couldn't. He turned to Torres and shrugged.
"Just leave it. The music isn't that important. Let Seven know that we are ready." Torres told him.
The doctor nodded, then went to a small side door in the holochurch to get Seven.
~~~~~
Seven heard the music start, but raised a brow in question. "That is not the music we selected." She stated.
The door then opened to reveal the doctor. He explained about the music and told them it was time.
Tuvok walked over and gave Seven his arm once more. Then he whispered. "Do not worry, know that no matter what happens, your love will hold you together."
Seven smiled and gently kissed his cheek. If he wasn't Vulcan, he would have smiled. Instead he asked if everyone was ready to go. Naomi jumped up and walked over to the door. She then looked to her mom. At Sam's nod they all headed out the door.
~~~~~
Tom smiled when the wrong music started and people we're looking around for answer's. He was watching Torres closely, but when she didn't get mad and lose her temper, he skipped part two and went right to part three.
He smiled as his plan went into effect.
~~~~~
B'Elanna and Chakotay turned and watched the three women make their way closer.
Naomi was dropping petals as she walked to the alter, but as they hit the floor, they turned into bugs that scurried towards the guests.
No one noticed until a few started crawling up peoples legs. Screams broke the happy mood.
B'Elanna was watching Seven so close, that she didn't notice until the screaming started. She ground her teeth and growled out one name. "PARIS."
~~~~~
Tom was laughing so hard, he fell out of his chair and didn't notice that Torres and Janeway had left the holodeck.
When he finally got his laughter under control and sat back at his desk he looked at the screen. Torres and Janeway we're still standing at the alter, so he focused on the borg and watched for her reaction.
~~~~~
Torres had quickly re-programmed the holodeck, so that her and Janeway were still at the alter.
"B'Elanna, I sent a security detail to Tom's quarters, but I don't think he'll be there. I suggest we proceed like nothing happened. I have a feeling he will eventually show up." Janeway said.
B'Elanna agreed and they slipped back in side, appearing as if they weren't there. They waited in the back of the church for the next thing to happen.
~~~~~
Tom watched as Tuvok and the borg made it to the alter. He scowled and waited impatiently for the last part of his plan. Since the bugs failed and no one was touching the food or drinks yet, he had no choices left.
So now he was waiting for just the right moment to make his grand entrance. He smiled, thinking that his plan was flawless.
~~~~~
The Captain had just asked if anyone objected to the union, when Tom Paris appeared just behind the couple.
"I object, I claim prior rights." He stated to Seven and Chakotay.
Then he noticed that Janeway and Torres had vanished. He looked around and found them walking up the isle towards him. He turned left and found Tuvok, then right, where Chakotay was waiting for him.
He started to reach for his comm badge, when a hand from behind him grabbed it away. As he opened his mouth to try a verbal command, Janeway spoke.
"All of your privileges have been revoked, so the computer won't answer to your voice anymore. Tuvok would you please escort Mr. Paris to the brig. I will deal with him after we are finished here."
Tuvok led Paris away and the wedding finally went off without any more problems.
The food and drinks were replaced, then the music started playing. The Captain stood and tapped her glass. "Since I am the Captain I believe it is my privilege to give the first toast." Taking a deep breath she continued. "jachchoHmeH 'Iwraj penaghtaH."
B'Elanna turned three shades of red and Seven raised a brow. "A tempting offer." And Torres went even redder.
The couple danced the first dance together, then we're handed around to dance with everyone else. As the night wore on they did manage to sneak away before anyone could stop them.
B'Elanna had their honeymoon planned for one week on the holodeck, locked. She wanted no interruptions. And Seven had no complaints.
~~~~~
As they sat on the porch of their house and watched the stars, B'Elanna thought back to when Seven had first come onboard Voyager. About how she had tried to hide her feelings for Seven.
A kiss on the temple pulled her back to the here and now and the wonderful woman who was her wife.
"Do you think it will always be like this for us, my Lana?" Seven asked.
B'Elanna pulled Seven closer and told her. "Nope, it can only get better from here."
