Summary: A poem for the snow challenge.

Poem

17 Jun 2002

In the wind whip of the
snow's cold white whirl
they stand arm and arm.
One short,
a raven
with proud heritage
carved archingly
into brave brow.
The other tall,
a golden maiden
not wholly
human in body but
beautifully human in soul.
As wonderful white
six sided flakes of
perfection
swirl around their bodies,
but never come between.
They stand in this cold,
desolation,
warmed by each other
never knowing the cold
surrounding them.
