Chapter 5
"Hey Axum! Can I talk to you for a second?" B'Elanna found herself thinking Tuvok was right because the more suppressed parts of her Klingon psychology already had Axum's head twisted off with all the difficulty of removing a stem bolt. Of course that was in her mind, her body had to determine what happened between him and Seven/Annika, THEN she could tear his head off. "Couldn't it wait? We need to question the children." She found herself bristling at the tone of voice he was using, but she then reminded herself the children did not need to have a brutal murder happen so near by. "The kids are fine, you won't have anything to do with them."
Axum turned and stepped towards B'Elanna, and farther away from the rest of the group. His expression seemed aggressive, and B'Elanna had to fight down the primal growl that would welcome his challenge. "That's how its going to be isn't it? Picard's started thinking he is some sort of Messiah. Janeway's already amassing an army of volunteers, now you want to talk to me. So what do you want to talk to me about Lieutenant Torres?" She was able to keep herself from snarling, but she couldn't keep it from baring some of her teeth. "You want to know what I want to talk to you about? I want to talk to you about Annika and the lies you been feeding her." "Lies, and how would you know that?"
B'Elanna laughed, a bit angrily. "First I think she would have better choice in men." His eyes narrowed at her. "Or is it the fact she is attracted to a man at all?" "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" His grin got downright malicious as he continued. "It burns you up doesn't it? All those years, working side by side with her, and you never had the guts." "ENOUGH!" Both of them turned to face the third voice that was shown to belong to Captain Picard. "Axum, while I would have preferred to talk to you personally I know you have lied to Annika about that nature of your relationship." As the man took a breath to reply Picard interrupted him by continuing. "You stated Annika had been with us eighteen years, but that would mean that for seven years you and her were the only residents." Axum sneered. "Oh yes, because that is when you made the world in your image."
As he spoke he stepped close enough to be nose to nose with the man his voice an eerie calm. "I have made no claims of godhood, but I will say this. If a man your age had courted a girl just barely the age of majority I would have known, and dealt with you accordingly. I have faced down Romulans, Klingons, and even the Borg. Believe me Axum, you do not compare. Now Annika knows of your lies, but if you continue to harass her you will no longer be welcome at our planning sessions." "Who are YOU to say that to me." "I am a man who would not press his fantasy life onto an unwilling subject. I am a man who would not make that person late for an important meeting because I wanted to talk over a personal matter. Perhaps most importantly I would not endanger my entire society in a pointless power struggle at an inopportune time."
B'Elanna knew that the calm of Captain Picard was all an act as she could tell his body was tensed to fight, and she found herself hoping Axum would take a swing. His angrily shaking posture differed from Picard's so drastically it was a distinct possibility. "You weren't around her all the time then, and you won't be now." At that point her turned and stormed away. The two Starfleet officers shared a look and a long exhalation. "I believe was can now classify him as a threat. Lieutenant Torres, can I count on you to protect Annika?" Torres felt her angry flush turn into a while new kind of one as his words sunk in. "Yes, of course sir." A grin suddenly split his face as he spoke again. "Now I have another duty to carry out as her guardian. What are your intentions towards my daughter?" The breath left B'Elanna's lungs as the color drained from her face.

The children remained the definition of Borg calm even as Seven examined them for injury as Icheb questioned her. "We have stated we are uninjured, and any injuries we would have suffered would have been neurological instead of biological." The statement caused her head to snap up from her examination, and that seemed to cause Mizati to speak. "We are uninjured, and we were able to establish that Lieutenant Torres was as well." When Seven gave Mizati a close up scrutiny that seemed to speak to her as much as if Seven sent the question right to her cortical implant. "We have noticed your specific concerns for her welfare, and corroborated it with previous behaviors."
Seven stood before the pair and arched her eyebrow. "Your conclusions?" Mizati's eyes were open and honest as she spoke. "You wish to make Lieutenant Torres your mate." She found herself smirking, even if it felt forced. "Two women can not mate with out scientific intervention." Icheb seemed to be attempting to silence Mizati, but it didn't seem to be working as she kept speaking. "That is incorrect. Scientific intervention would only be needed for procreation. Same gender life partners are an accepted practice. The scientific intervention is not an issue, you ARE Borg." Seven of Nine seemed all too human quite suddenly. "That is the problem, if I were human I would be able to understand the emotions involved." Icheb finally joined the conversation.
"That is incorrect. The humans here on Voyager seem as confused about emotions, especially Lieutenant Torres." Even as Seven seemed to contemplate the young man's words Mizati contributed. "We can assist you. We will observe Lieutenant Torres and report her actions, as well as keeping you informed as to her health." Seven's smirk was genuine this time. "So you will spy for me?" The two children nodded emphatically. "What about those others?" Icheb was the one to reply. "They already agreed. We will just need to inform them of your knowledge." "I don't suppose I can talk you out of this?" Mizati spoke. "Resistance is Futile."

"She then bit you?" B'Elanna was blushing deeply as she simply nodded, and Picard began to laugh. "Its not like it was even her." Picard shook his head. "Are you sure? Out of everyone in the engine room she chose you to put the bite on, and you can't tell me that didn't effect you." She looked at him rather quizzically as he continued. "She began the mating ritual, and from your telling of it you didn't seem to resistant. at least not any more then a usual klingon mating ritual." She seemed to respond to the Captain and then she shook herself. "Ok, MAYBE that was the point I started to analyze why she was always able to get to me. but you're her father! I shouldn't be discussing this with you!"
"Why not? If you wish to keep the more intimate details private that is your business, but the fact is she is a wonderful young lady. You are a intelligent, honorable, caring person, and if she would want to be with you then I would happily give my blessing." His words deflated her and she found she was nodding dumbly. "Thank you." He nodded. "Now, when will you tell her how you feel?" Her color seemed to drain. "Oh I was thinking maybe about the time we got back to the Alpha Quadrant." His next words brought her color back in a rush. "What? Are you scared?"
Elsewhere in Unimatrix Zero another human and another klingon were talking, about the same subject. "You have tasted her blood, and it will now burn in your presence." Annika looked deeply into the features of the klingon warrior. "Even if it was a personality I had assimilated?" "You tasted her blood. Even now her scent sets your heart to pound." She nodded, rather timidly, at which the klingon warrior laughed and clasped her on the shoulder. "Not to worry Annika. She accepted your mark, now it is just a matter of you claiming your mate." "I would never force her." The klingon warrior shook his head. "No, no that is with out honor. You must let her know your heart calls to her, and that you will face any foe to claim it." "I have to let her know I am serious."
Chapter 6
Annika's confusion was apparent as Captain Jean Luc Picard and Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres strode purposefully towards her. "Annika." She found her voice softening on its own, and while she had never called Jean Luc Picard father. The urge was strong to do so at that moment, but she settled for saying his name warmly. "Jean Luc." As she watched the hug and the kiss on the cheek so typical of French greetings B'Elanna's eyes were tender, but mysterious. It was obvious the feelings she was having, but her thoughts were hidden; yet Annika found herself both warmed and confused by the Lieutenant's unwavering gaze. As Captain Picard pulled out of the embrace his face no longer held its smile, which caused Annika to lose hers.
"Annika there was a confrontation between Axum, Lieutenant Torres, and myself. When you get back to Voyager I want you to disconnect the children from Unimatrix Zero, and while you are here I have to ask you not to travel alone." Annika found she could not believe her ears as she looked between the two Starfleet officers, but yet the absolute sincerity in both sets of eyes could not be denied. "Do you think he could be violent?" Even as the captain drew a breath to speak she could see the answer. "Yes, I do. His last comment seemed to imply he would try to get to you. I am not sure how, or what his intentions are, but I do not want to leave you alone." She then looked at Lieutenant Torres, and surprisingly enough the serious look quickly turned into a blush another expression that seemed to be transmitted to Annika's face as she too started to blush.
Picard's smile was blatant as he spoke. "I will leave you in B'Elanna's capable hands." His expression stayed cheery as he turned and walked away while the women stepped closer to each other. Annika was the first to speak, and B'Elanna swore she could felt the breath ghost across her face. "You had said you would talk to him." She didn't flicker as she looked into Annika's eyes. "I keep my word." Annika did flicker however as she spoke. "I wouldn't want you to be injured over me." Torres stepped closer as she put a hand on Annika's forearm. "What he said to you was dishonorable, and I could not let him keep hurting you." The blonde's eyes glimmered with gratitude and something deeper, something B'Elanna felt herself responding to.
Yet as she stepped close she felt Annika's shaking, and felt her feelings grow tender, even as they cooled. She knew she was not tall enough to rest Annika's head on her shoulder, but she still pulled the woman into her arms, and rested her head on the taller woman's shoulder while guiding Annika's head to rest on top of her own. A contented sigh escaped her lips, and it was mirrored, Torres actually hearing it in the chest she was now snuggling against. The warmth of their bodies mingled, their scents mingling, soothing both, and causing muscles to unwind as they leaned into each other. Their arms tightened yet were gentle as they held each other.

B'Elanna Torres was swearing at herself, the parts of her brain that were not being monitored by the Collective seemed to all be on one thing, and it was not getting the information that Voyager needed. It was on whom she would relay the information to. While she was willing to admit part of the reason she was finally getting close to Seven was the effects of Unimatrix Zero accessing 100% of her brain. The reasons he found herself thinking of her as Seven was because Seven was who Annika was outside of Unimatrix Zero and B'Elanna wanted to know her there to. For a second she was afraid she would smile when she thought how she was literally wanting to know Seven inside and out, but she was no longer in a regeneration cycle, and a smiling drone would be a bit out of place.
The steady rhythmic pace of her steps had become second nature to her now, as did the dead countenance common to all drones. Her mind wandered again, this time thinking how this had been Seven's existence for eighteen years. The thought alone made her heart ache for the all too human drone Seven of Nine. She again cursed herself and realized it must be the cortical implant, it freed up so much of the brain from all the minutiae of life that the rest of the brain we free to wander. Of course having it wander to Seven might not be that bad. The cortical implant showed its usefulness however as she turned the corner to find the secondary navigational adjunct.
Her next action was with out thought, but did not come from her cortical implant. It was all too organic the sudden, instinctive flash of danger that caused her to side step at the right time to avoid the first drones attack. As she turned to face him her cortical implant immediately pulled up his face from Axum's supporters; the aggression on his face was evident enough. The two with him seemed confused and unwilling as they also took up attack postures. She knew that any combat on the cube would be quickly detected, but not as quickly in this seldom-accessed part of the tactical cube. Knowing she would have to end this quickly she went for the first visible weakness, the two unknown drones.
A step to the left brought her along side one where she grabbed the man's biological arm and attempted to throw him into the other two drones. As soon as she got her hands on his arm she realized he must have been assimilated for his physical strength because even with her surprise and her joint lock he was able to fight her throw. Which caused the motion she had hoped for to be turned into an off kilter wobble as he crashed towards the other two. The first attacker was aware enough to step out of the way, but the second unwilling one tumbled to the floor with the first unwilling attacker. The one still on his feet lunged for her throat, but being a bruiser he was much taller then her and was reaching downward. That gave B'Elanna an opening and she took it.
Her shoulder collided with the drone's midsection, and while her armor absorbed most of the impact his seemed to as well as he continued to try to grapple with her. As his biological arm hoisted her up his cybernetic one pulled back and she found herself bracing for a blow that would probably punch through her cortical implant as easily as it would her cortex. It never landed, but she did hear an impact as armor hit armor, but she could see it was Tuvok's armor clad leg striking against the drone's armor clad chest. The leg was still in a raised position as it placed itself squarely between the eyes of one of the rising drones. When it again touched the floor B'Elanna's attacker was wising up to swing at Tuvok, but she immediately saw the difference.
While her attacker was a heavy labor drone, made to be able to apply heavy degrees of force. Tuvok was a tactical drone however, and he was designed to place just as much force, but far more creatively. One hand caught the "wrist" of the cybernetic appendage as the Vulcan dropped to one knee and brought the appendage down on his shoulder. A grind of protesting servos announced the cybernetic appendage's damage as B'Elanna put all of her weight into a blow to the back of the drones head, and heard an entirely satisfying thud. Another satisfying thud sounded as the drone crumpled to the ground. As Tuvok's gaze turned towards the now cowering drones and caught them in an angry glare. "Please, please don't kill us."
His eyes narrowed on the first one as the second spoke. "We just want to go home." The tactical drone seemed to take a deep breath. "That we can not assist you with presently, but if you assist us we will do what we can." The first one spoke again as he pointed to the lead drone. "That's what he said." Tuvok spoke simply. "Clarify." "When we woke up, he said if we helped him he would get us off the cube." It was at that point B'Elanna stepped forward. "You mean you just woke up here in the cube?" The two seemed to nod in unison as Tuvok raised a hand and spoke to Torres. "Complete your task. These two will help me to dispose of the attacker and I will question them. I will then inform you of the results later." While she did not want to leave them to the mercies of Tuvok she knew he was right, while the Collective had not detected them yet the longer she waited the better the odds they would. So she turned to the adjunct and did her best to ignore the sounds of Tuvok giving out orders and the sound of the unconscious drone being dragged away.

Captain Kathryn Janeway exhaled and ran a hand through her hair before she spoke. "It's confirmed, I wish it wasn't but it's confirmed. Axum's had those men's individuality returned, but didn't bother to give them the Unimatrix Zero mutation." Annika's eyes were wide with alarm as she spoke. "So they simply awoke as independent parts of the Collective with out anyone to guide them?" Janeway shook her head. "Not entirely, there was Axum's man telling them to help him kill B'Elanna and they would get to leave the Collective." It was at that point B'Elanna's attention picked up. She had already been briefing Annika as they headed towards the meeting, but when she learned of the attempt on B'Elanna's life she stopped and immediately began inspecting B'Elanna for signs of injury.
An action that first caused her to want to tell her she was all right, then it made B'Elanna want to blush, when Annika seemed to be finished her inspection B'Elanna found herself wanted to examine Annika as well. Instead of dwelling on that thought she exercised a supreme act of will and wrenched herself back to the conversation. "So what happened to them?" Janeway massaged her forehead as she spoke. "Tuvok gave them the mutation and met them here. He then handed them over to some of the residents and went after Axum. He also recommended that you two be kept here." She forestalled B'Elanna's protest with her hand. "And I agreed with him. Annika needs to get our coordinates back to Voyager, and Captain Picard told me to remind you about your vow to Seven?"
By some miracle B'Elanna managed to keep from blushing at the further teasing from the Frenchman, but she nodded. Janeway nodded and smiled. "Good, now talk, play a game, just keep yourselves amused until your regeneration cycles end. I'll be back with more when I get it." She got up and left them alone. As she saw the mysterious smile on her face Torres was left with the sinking feeling that she and Annika were being set up, and since those doing the setting up were at least at one time drones she found herself thinking the words. "Resistance is Futile." As she looked at her companion the young woman spoke. "So what game shall we play?" Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres clamped down on the first dozen replies that immediately jumped into her head.
Chapter 7
Be warned, this part of the story has the love scene, and all that entails, including graphic, but tasteful, lovemaking.
Janeway shouted to raise her voice over the tempest screaming through the jungle. "What's happening?" It seemed to work because Captain Picard responded. "The Collective must have found the frequency for Unimatrix Zero and are attempting to erase it." As they both wiped water from their faces Janeway's expression grew dark. "Found, or were given?" The captain's looked in each other's eyes and spoke in unison. "Axum." Janeway was the first to express their next thought. "But he will be hurt too." Picard shook his head as the two continued to shout about the storm. "He's too self centered for that. He must have cut a deal with the Collective."
The two had broken into a jog to meet with Tuvok and knew they were close when they saw the klingon warrior waving them with the hand that was not holding his batleth. As they managed to get into the shelter they took stock of the situation, both captain's moving to the front to call for order. While Picard settled the crowd Janeway spoke to Tuvok. "Report." "We have found a string of structures that appear to be held by Axum's people. The structures seem to be occupying the eye of this storm." As she looked around again she asked. "What about B'Elanna and Annika?" The Vulcan's expression had seemed to find it usual center, though Janeway found she did not want to look into his eyes. While his eyes had always been emotionless before they seemed cold now, what was an unfortunate duty had become simple necessity.
His expression still showed concern for his crewmates, which assured Janeway her friend was still there. "No word, I personally examined where they were left and believe they have sought shelter elsewhere." Picard seemed to look over when he heard that part of the conversation, but he then took a deep breath as he addressed the entire crowd. "We have found an eye to the storm, but it is occupied by Axum and his people." The statement seemed to cause a series of shrugs and confused looks as Picard spoke again. "We believe he gave the information to cause this attack on Unimatrix Zero. That got more of a reaction as many refused to accept the notion, but another Starfleet officer stood up to defend the notion. This time it was Laura. "Has the Captain ever lied to us before?"
As the crowd seemed to reluctantly shake their heads no she continued. "I don't like the idea that Axum betrayed us, but that facts are the storms have never been this bad, and the fact he is in the eye of the storm says a little too much to me." A voice from the crowd asked. "Can't we reason with him?" It was one of B'Elanna's unwilling attackers who spoke up. "He didn't reason with us!" The rest of them looked confusedly at the newcomers as Picard motioned one to stand at the front of the crowd. He proceeded to tell of waking up in his alcove, his individuality restored, and then being told he would have to kill someone to get out. The account seemed to sober the crowd quickly as former Starfleet officers and other former military types stepped forward.

"Lieutenant Paris, may I speak with you?" Thomas Eugene Paris turned around reflexively, and then stooped down to meet the focused gaze of the Borg child Mizati. He found himself wanting to smile at the seriousness on the young girl's face, but knew that would probably not be well received. "How can I help you Mizati?" "I wish to ask you the status of your relationship with Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres." Tom suddenly felt rather nervous, his mind jumping back to Seven's research into B'Elanna and himself. "Shouldn't Seven be giving you this talk?" She tilted her head in a junior approximation of Seven. "I have already spoke to Seven about this matter. Which is why I must now speak to you." "Ok, now I am confused."
"I need to determine your status with Lieutenant Torres." A startled look crossed Tom's face. "This doesn't have anything to do with me, does it?" The young girls gaze never wavered. "Only in a peripheral manner." The color drained from Tom's face and his sense of balance seemed to disappear. Mizati seemed to notice his condition and was compelled to speak. "Lieutenant Paris, should I call sickbay?" She shook his head rather abruptly. "No, no, I'm ok. I just need to get to the bridge. I have to report for duty." As the helmsman quickly made his way to the turbolift the focused expression turned into a pout as she realized she had not acquired the necessary information.
~~~
B'Elanna Torres dropped to the floor and lay on her back. She knew that dust and assorted other debris that had been kicked up by the storm would be sticking to her now wet uniform, but found she was too tired to care. They were safe and dry from the moment and after she managed to bar the door against the storm her body started expressing itself after the mad dash through the howling winds and blinding rains. Annika had slipped to her knees near where B'Elanna now lay. After staying that way for several moments she stretched out next to B'Elanna on her side. Those soft blue eyes caused B'Elanna's body to start expressing itself in a whole new manner as she rolled onto her side to face Annika.
Then picked a few fragments of debris that had gotten caught in the golden hair that was now dark where it stuck to Annika's face. When she pulled a few strands from the woman's face Annika's hand reached up to hold B'Elanna's to her cheek as her eyes looked right trough B'Elanna's. Leaving her feeling vulnerable, but not afraid as she let that last wall drop behind her own eyes. Annika shifted, and while she was still lying on her side she was leaning towards B'Elanna. Her own hand gliding along the woman's arm to cup her cheek. One thumb glided under brown eyes that had started to smolder. The gaze caused Annika's breathing to deepen, which made her lips part. The sight of that heaving chest, those rose lips, and just the lightest hint of pink tongue washed though B'Elanna's mind like a tidal wave.
It was her smaller frame that closed the distance between them. She was lying on her right side and that leg pressed against Annika's. Her other leg arched over Annika's hip at the small of the woman's back. The hand that was on Annika's cheek had moved to the back of her head and the other slid under Annika's ribs and rested in the middle of her back. Both women were whimpering in need until their lips met and they fell silent. The kiss was deep, desperate, pure instinct and passion the sound of lips smacking and teeth clicking, tongues slathering against each other. As Annika's arms wrapped around Torres she pulled the smaller woman to her. While her unaugumented strength did not compare to B'Elanna's klingon prowess Torres was all to willing to be pulled into a sitting position on Annika's lap her legs wrapping around the shapely hips as her arms wrapped themselves around Annika's ribs under the woman's longer arms.
Annika's nimble fingers first caressed B'Elanna's face with out ever breaking their lips contact. Then as her hips began to grind harder against the smaller woman's those same nimble fingers slid down her neck and made it arch into her touch. As they slid lower they began to unfasten the operations yellow uniform jacket. As B'Elanna took her arms away to let the jacket fall Annika placed her hands on the blue-gray undershirt. The dampness of the fabric was not able to mask the warmth of B'Elanna's skin, but as she felt its firmness she wanted to feel the softness as well. When her hands went to the waist of the uniform trousers they were joined by a second set that pulled the undershirt free and raised it over and off those auburn locks. Annika's eyes got wide and her lips parted further as her hands stretched out to rest on the stomach and trace her ribs.
B'Elanna's arms reached around Annika's head and started kissing her forehead and nuzzling her hair. Annika's eyes looked up and locked with B'Elanna's as both women smiled breathlessly. A delighted growl slipped past the Klingon's lips as she felt her bra being unfastened. Their eyes stayed locked and Torres gave her wordless approval as the garment was pulled away. The tips were hard, both with arousal and the cool air, and Annika found them absolutely captivating. First explored with her hands cupping the weight of each one in her fingers. The nipples being pressed and then being allowed to slip past. Then her lips joined soon after as she began to kiss one. Her tongue darting out, the taste causing her to moan. As she circled the tip B'Elanna ran her fingers through Annika's damp locks. When she began to press the flat of her tongue to the pebbled surface B'Elanna groaned and pressed against Annika's mouth.
Annika felt B'Elanna's hand move from her hair to her own top, and begin to fumble with it, trying to get it off of her. She pulled back from the delectable flesh she was tasting and looked up into B'Elanna's eyes. Her eyes were bright with wonder, and B'Elanna's were dark with desire, but they seemed to melt as she looked into Annika's eyes, tenderness swirling with the passion. What Annika didn't see was how her own eyes were now devouring the flesh before her as much as her mouth had been doing moments ago. One of B'Elanna's hands went to the back of Annika's head and eased it back both eyes conveying that they both wanted it, need it, needed each other. Annika pulled her arms from her top as B'Elanna pulled it off her.
Arms that were taken in B'Elanna's hands and lifted above Annika's head as she was laid onto her back. The compact from of the engineer climbed on top of the longer frame and straddled shapely hips. The engineer's strong hands cupped Annika's ample bust as her thumb's circled firm tips that were already pointing upward under her touch. Her index finger teased the point while the thumb circled the textured surface. All of this causing Annika to writhe underneath B'Elanna. Which caused a new sensation as her pelvis ground into B'Elanna's. Her breathing was coming in ragged gasps as she arched upward. Torres smiled knowingly as she leaned in over Annika and began kissing over her eyes, cheeks, forehead and mouth. Annika was groaning, trying to speak.
"B'E, B'Elanna!" B'Elanna smiled and nuzzled her cheek to Annika's as she whispered in her ear. "It's ok, It's ok, I know." It was at that point she began to finish undressing Annika slipping footwear away, kissing every exposed spot of flesh she could find until Annika Hansen was laying there naked before her. It was then she slid back and began stripping off the rest of her uniform. The various garments joining Annika's at random spots in the room. The blonde had sat up to watch the proceedings. After Torres had finished undressing she sat down next to Annika and began kissing her. When the fair skinned face had a questioning smile B'Elanna kissed it and used her hand to ease the long legs apart. An action that elicited a gasp as already damp flesh was exposed to the cool air.
Annika's eyes were unable to look away as B'Elanna scooted back and spread her own legs. At which her eyes dripped down to B'Elanna's exposed sex. It was damp like her own, and the tissues we swollen as her own were, but it was so different, so uniquely B'Elanna. Her eyes narrowed as Torres drew closer and scissored their legs. Her heart seemed to stop as their tissues touched. The wetness, the heat, Annika felt herself about to fall back, but B'Elanna's arms reached out to hold her, though her body still sagged as she writhed with B'Elanna, against B'Elanna. She rested her own palms on the ground and used the leverage to increase the friction between them a friction that was offset by the wetness that was saturating their thighs.
The soft tuft of hair between B'Elanna's legs was getting damp and matted as it ground against an area that the Doctor did not see fit to stimulate hair growth, and stayed with Annika's self image here in Unimatrix Zero. B'Elanna was trying to restrain herself so that she would not overwhelm Annika's first time, but as the woman undulated faster and harder against her cries picked up volume and intensity and B'Elanna's control started to fade as she to picked up the pace. Annika was the first as her body went rigid and she cried out in release. That proved to be too much for B'Elanna as her arms pulled Annika close to her while she continued to move her hips in smaller circles. Finally crying out, shrieking joyously from her place pressed against Annika's collarbone.
Both women's muscles had been taut with passion, but as the passion receded they had enough presence of mind to keep hold of each other. As they slid to rest on their sides their eyes were locked again as Annika spoke. "I love you." The eyes that had always captivated Seven of Nine, and enraptured Annika Hansen went through another emotional transition. First the satisfied glow of passion fulfilled, then dawning to the words that Annika had just said. Annika feared what the next transition would be, but smiled when those eyes seemed to gain a radiance of their own and B'Elanna replied. "I love you too."
